Qualifications & experience

Australian Recognized - Cert 3 HD Mechanic Trade Certificate (Road Transport) Minimum 2 years qualified experience
HR Licence (or higher)
Motor Vehicle Repairer's Certificate - We can help you obtain this
Ability to complete paperwork to a high standard
Physically fit with a willingness to learn
Customer Service Skills
Able to work Independently and Problem Solve

Tasks & responsibilities

Servicing & Preventative Maintenance
General Repairs - All Makes & Models
Roller Brake Testing - Training will be provided
Fault finding/Computer Diagnostics
Ability to interpret live data via diagnostics.
Engine Repairs & Rebuilds
Component Repairs & Rebuilds
Hydraulic Repairs
Field service/Breakdown opportunities
Air conditioning repairs - Training can be provided

About us

Wade Fleet Maintenance is a family-owned business that was established in 2000. We have a fully equipped custom-built workshop located in Forrestfield, Perth WA. We specialise in Road Transport repairs including but not limited to Trucks, Trailers, Tankers, Floats, and all heavy vehicle fleet maintenance for all brands. Plus, we are an approved Department of Transport inspection station for Heavy Vehicle Licensing. We are long term members of the Motor Trades Association of WA with over 20 yrs experience in our industry and were awarded with “Small Automotive business of the Year” in 2022 along with being nominated as “Automotive Repairer of the Year” Finalists, at the MTA WA's Automotive Excellence Awards in Both 2019 & 2021. In just the last 4 months we have been Paintballing and Trail bike pub crawling as a team, which included a full day of food and drinks supplied by the company for all our staff members.
